    What running challenges must I complete?

    Kick-start your motivation with our IRLA Running challenges and put yourself in a competitive mindset -- even if your only opponent is yourself.

    Each challenge brings you a step closer to where you want to be. Running goes beyond racing. It's a state of mind that motivates you in all aspects of success at work, at home, with family, and more. Some days are race days, but you can make every day a run day.

    Can I make my own running challenges?

    IRLA Running challenge medals are for both beginners and longtime runners. If you're already a 5K and 10Ker, add your own obstacles to our running challenges. Run 5K in the rain, run 10K over gravel or grass, or run a mile with ankle weights.

    If you're not running to compete yet, reward yourself just for finishing a 5K or 10K run. Are you developing your pace to meet a race time challenge? Give yourself your 5K award when you can run it at your personal best. You set your limits, and your successes are up to you.

    How do IRLA challenges work?

    When you accept our IRLA challenges, you receive a box of four minor challenges and the last major challenge for the complete set. Use your phone to scan your Introductory IRLA and get our IRLA app, where you can track your progress and compare your goals with a like-minded community. Open each IRLA as you complete your challenges!
